Burning of American Vessels.

Attempts have been made in New-York, to discredit the report of Captain Folger, that the French burnt, and otherwise destroyed, the American shipping driven on their possession in the late storm at Cadiz. To these suggestions, Capt. F. has officially announced in the papers, that the French not only destroyed the American shipping, driven within their reach by stress of weather, but that the officers and crew of these unfortunate vessels, were immediately imprisoned.
