Col. Benton-Important Lecture.

Col. Benton, we understand, left for Washington City via the Ohio River on Saturday afternoon. Col. B. will deliver an address before some Literary Institute of Baltimore, on the 6th of December, on the subject of the geography of the American Continent between Missouri and California. It is supposed that he will, in that Lecture, give to the public the main facts established by Col. Fremont, on his late trip in winter, over the Central route, never yet published.-St. Louis Intel.
