THREE BOYS HELD
FOR BURGLARY
Plead Guilty to Entering Jack Haley Home—Bound Over
John Vandergriff, 19, Ernest Finch and Frank Harms, each 17, were arrested Sunday evening by Officer Tom Dunn on the charge of burglarizing the home of Jack Haley northwest of town a few weeks ago.
The boys were brought before Judge Ellis Monday forenoon by County Attorney Vasey, who appeared for the state. They were arraigned, pleaded guilty and were bound over to the district court on bond of $200, which was furnished by their parents.
When arrested Harms had a safety razor belonging to Mr. Haley, Vandergriff, some shotgun shells and Finch a watch chain, also the property of Mr. Haley.
In the "layout" taken from the Haley home were six dozen choice White Leghorn eggs from Jack's prize winning layers. They were sold by the boys, it is alleged.
Chief of Police Dillow and his squad of officers have been working on the case since the robbery, and Mr. Haley Monday threw a bouquet to them for their efficient work in rounding up the guilty parties.
