Stockbridge Man Charged With Auto Assault, Battery

A charge of assault and battery with an automobile was hurled at a 39-year-old Stockbridge, Ga., man here Sunday after he allegedly smashed into his co-worker with a vehicle.

W. Hambrick, of Route 2, Stockbridge, was arrested following an alleged assault at a Cain Street warehouse parking lot, police said.

Injured was Dan Ferry, 45, of Route 1, Tucker, Ga.

Ferry accused Hambrick of piling into him with a car and fleeing.

Hambrick was arrested at Martin Street and Memorial Drive and returned to the scene of the assault, Officers W. O. Browning and J. C. Smith reported.
