Joe Smith.—According to the Cleveland (Ohio) Plain Dealer, the Mormon temple at Kirtland has lately been dedicated anew, and the wand of the Prophet has been waking the dry bones in that valley. On Saturday the 29th ult. three of Joe Smith's specially commissioned and faithful followers arrived at the temple from Nauvoo, and commenced preaching faith and repentance. The Sunday morning following, they commenced baptising in a branch of the Chagrin river, and continued at intervals for three days—baptising, in all 206 persons, at two shillings a head!
