OKLAHOMA MAN HAS BEEN RELEASED BY KIDNAPPERS

OKLAHOMA CITY, Aug. 2.

Charles Urschel, who was released by his abductors after having been held in captivity since July 22, absolutely refuses to talk about his experiences or to confirm the reports of a huge ransom payments. It was disclosed, however, that he had been blindfolded during the major part of his absence and that he could not give officers of the law any clue as to where he had been held. It is thought that his lips have been sealed by further threats. Urschel was kidnapped by a bandit group with machine guns, who lured him and a Urschel house guest from a game of bridge to come outside the house. The kidnappers took both in an automobile and hastened away. Later they released the house-guest but held Urschel.
