Toledo Fiend To Die October 26

CONFESSED SLAYER OF CHILD AND SCHOOL TEACHER.

TOLEDO, O., July 16.(AP)- Chas. J. Hoppe, 26, must die in the electric chair for the murder of Dorothy Sielagowski, 7, his wife's cousin, whom he killed after he kidnapped her from her bed May 20. The death penalty was announced today by a decision of three common pleas judges, who heard the evidence on his sanity after the confession of the slaying. Hoppe also signed an alleged confession that he killed Lilly Dale Croy, Toledo school teacher, two years ago. He was sentenced to die October 26.
