Beverly, June 6. A number of young Ladies, of several Ages, very early in the morning, assembled at the house of the Rev. Mr. Champney, with their spinning wheels, bringing with them a sufficiency, and indeed more, to employ them the whole Day, which they spent with great diligence and surprising application, and with much decency and propriety. Their number was 60. The number of skeins they spun, was one hundred of linen and cotton yarn, 20 knots in a skein, which they generously left with the Family at night, besides some Wool and Flax, which the approach of the Evening forbid their spinning.
