Full Text

Spain and France.

The conduct of the Spanish government in relation to the deportment of France, concerning the new state of things existing in Spain, has been very spirited. It has been but too apparent that the French authorities have countenanced the machinations of the Spanish refugees to effect a counter-revolution. They are suffered to loiter on the frontier, and to disperse the fire-brands of civil war in the neighboring provinces. The cabinet of Paris has been compelled, by the stern remonstrances of the Spanish Ambassador, to order these refugees into the interior of France.—Bos. Gaz.
