CALVER THE PRESIDENT.

Elected to the Highest Office of Class 1901, W. P. I.

The freshman class at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute elected officers at a business meeting of the class Tuesday noon in the Salisbury laboratories.

A great deal of interest centred in the contest for class president, in which Arthur W. Calver of Washington, D. C., was elected over three other candidates.

Baker was elected secretary and Gallup treasurer for the coming year. Another important meeting of the class will be held later this week.
