MYSTERIOUS DISAPPEARANCE.-On Friday last about 2 o'clock Henry Powell, the noted porter of the National Bank of Virginia, left the banking-house. He told one of the officers that he would return in a few minutes to attend to some duty to which his attention had been called, but has not since been heard from. He did not go home that night, and early next morning his wife came to the bank to make inquiry about him. She and other friends have made diligent search, the police aiding them, but up to a late hour Saturday night no trace of him had been discovered. The keys of the office-rooms in the second and third stories of the bank building, which were in his custody, were left by him at the bank.
