Badly In Fall At
Martello Towers

Dr. Aubrey C. Hamilton was badly injured last night when he fell from a parapet at the West Martello Towers while aiding in the preparations for last night's scheduled La Semana Alegre Pageant.

Dr. Hamilton was carrying sound equipment up the stairs when he lost his balance and fell down 8 steps striking the concrete base of the structure. Taken to the Navy Hospital, his injuries were diagnosed as a dislocated shoulder, five fractured ribs and a fractured shoulder blade.

This morning Dr. Hamilton's condition was reported as "fair."
