RED CROSS CAMPAIGN INCREASING IN VOLUME

American Residents of Foreign Countries Help to Raise Funds--$63,000,000 Already Raised.

Washington, June 23.--America's campaign to raise one hundred million dollars for the Red Cross assumed international proportions today when word reached headquarters that committees of American residents in London and Paris, and of Panama, Ecuador, Peru, and other South American countries, were soliciting funds.

Promises of contributions aggregating several hundred thousand dollars also came from Manila, Alaska, and Guam.

A compilation at headquarters today showed that about $63,000,000 has already been raised.
