BUSY BEES 4-H CLUB
The Busy Bees held their first meeting of the new year on January 17 with six members present.
As we missed our December meeting, we decided to have two meetings in February.
Keith Brown was elected reporter. The arranging of the record book was interesting.
An ice pond has been started as our community service project and it is expected to be ready within a few days. Members are urged to level it off and bring benches or logs to sit on.
Our club goals were discussed and it was decided to improve our accomplishment of the club.
Plans for a window display will be brought up at the February 6 meeting. A skating party was set for January 24.
The 4-H Pledge was led by Keith Brown and the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag was led by Ida Lou Kennedy. Ice cream, cookies and hot chocolate was served by Lukins. Meeting adjourned.
