You will oblige a Customer by inserting the following in your paper:
WHEN a man purchases land of another, is he not immediately entitled to deeds on payment of the purchase money? Contracts between the public and individuals, surely ought to be held as sacred as contracts between individual and individual.
This being granted, is it reasonable—is it just, that public bodies, who have a sufficient number of clerks, to withhold, for these three or four months, the deeds and settlements from persons who have been purchasers of lands in the western territory, and who have made payment for the same?

Main Argument
public contracts should be as sacred as private ones, entitling land purchasers in the western territory to immediate deeds upon payment, rather than facing delays of three or four months from public bodies with ample clerks.
