PROF. LANE'S LECTURE.
He Will Analyze Laughter for the Benefit of Two Churches.

Prof. Charles Lane will deliver his unique and entertaining lecture, "The Analysis of Laughter," at the Guards Hall Friday night. One who has had the pleasure of hearing Prof. Lane on several occasions speaks of him in this wise:

"Do you suffer with melancholia, despondency, heaviness of heart, dullness of head, hypochondria? If so, Charles Lane will make you forget all your troubles for the time being. You don't need electric machines and patent medicines to remove the disease. What you need is to laugh, a regular side-splitter, a peal that will unlink your imaginary troubles and cast your yoke of sorrow to the four winds."

He will analyze laughter. What is it? What causes it? And you will come away satisfied.

The money raised by the entertainment is for the benefit of Grace and the Seventh Street Methodist Churches.
