We are informed, says the Baltimore Federal Gazette, that the son of a very respectable citizen of Philadelphia, who has been lately residing in the city of Washington, was murdered yesterday morning near that city in a duel. The circumstances which led to this misnamed honourable murder, are said to be such as, in the estimation of respectable and honest men, are very disreputable. It remains to be seen what exertions will be made by the proper authorities to punish the murderers.
