Congress.—We find nothing in the proceedings of Congress of sufficient interest to detail at length.—On Monday last, the trial of Judge Peck commenced before the U. S. Senate, sitting as a Court of Impeachment. Mr. McDuffie, one of the Managers of the impeachment, opened the prosecution by a speech which he had not concluded at 3 o'clock on Monday, when the Senate adjourned. The H. of R. attended, in a body, in the Senate Chamber. The Managers are Messrs. McDuffie, Buchanan, Storrs, Spencer and Wickliffe; and the counsel for Judge Peck are Mr. Wirt and Mr. Meredith of Baltimore.
