We have devoted a considerable portion of our paper this week to the late English news relating to the Queen, not doubting but it will be interesting to our readers; but it has not been in our power to give all that is received relative to her trial. By an arrival at New-York, accounts from London to the twenty-second August are received. In the House of Lords, Mr. Denman followed Mr. Brougham on the side of the Queen: he was followed by the Attorney-General, on the part of the prosecution. A witness named Theodore Majocchi was then summoned, and attended at the bar. It is said that the Queen, on hearing the name of this witness, exclaimed, "What! Theodore!" and instantly left her seat and the room, and did not return to the house that day. Majocchi, in the course of his testimony, mentioned a number of circumstances, which, if they are to be credited, go to fix strong suspicions of guilt upon the Queen, and it is said that she has lost much of her popularity since the commencement of her trial.
