BECOMES AN EDITOR.

Professor Shaw of Minnesota Agricultural College Resigns.

St. Paul, Dec. 14.-Professor Thomas Shaw of the Minnesota State Agricultural college has resigned to assume editorial charge of The Farmer, an agricultural paper in this city. Professor Shaw is an authority on the feeding of animals, and will continue his experiments in growing food crops on a private farm, having great faith in Minnesota and the Northwest for the growth of clover and alfalfa. The animals that won so many prizes at the International Fat Stock show in Chicago for the last two years were fed under his direction, and his collection and classification of foreign crops won the first prize at the recent show.
