WASHINGTON, Aug. 25. (AP)--The Veterans administration has now torn away some of the red tape of the registration procedure for the GI Bill's training and education program. September 1, veterans will be required to file certificates of eligibility at least a month in advance of training.
Under the revised system a VA claim number will be assigned as each certificate is received and the administration will be ready in advance to handle the veteran's claim for subsistence allowance at once.
To each veteran will be given two copies of his certificate for presenting to the school or training institution.
