No THANKS FOR IT! In the Missouri Legislature on the 27th, a Member proposed to resolve 'That the thanks of the people of this State are due to Hon. David B. Atchison for the manly and unwavering course pursued by him in regard to the all important question of Slavery, by subscribing his name, 'solitary and alone,' to the Address of the Southern Delegates in Congress to their constituents,'—but on putting it to vote, it was rejected—41 to 46. Other resolutions (accompanying the one thanking Mr. Atchison,) declaring that the people of Missouri endorsed Mr. Calhoun's Address, shared the same fate.
