Lawton Attends
Orlando Meeting

B. E. Lawton, county agent,
left this morning for Orlando,
where he goes to attend a two-day
meeting held for the purpose of
discussing further the plans of the
new
1938 Soil Conservation program
as inaugurated by the state
and federal governments. Mr.
Lawton says all the county agents
of South Florida will be at the
meeting and they will hear addresses
by prominent officials and
others connected with the putting
over of the campaign.

The new program, according to
Mr. Lawton, is wide in its scope
and will help very much all farmers
and growers who take advantage
of its provisions.
