A Boy Scout Court of Honor was held here in the high school building Tuesday night. A local boy, Maurice Henery, received the Eagle Scout badge, the highest award in the Boy Scout organization. He is the second Boy Scout in this county to receive this honor. Scout Executive Delbert Pugh of Marietta, was present.
Badges were awarded to other members of the local troop, Malta and Pennsville troops. Besides Mr. Pugh, other Scout leaders present included Francis Kraps, local scoutmaster; Edward Perkins, Malta, county Scout commissioner. Members of the Court of Honor are: James M. Turner, F. W. Cochran and P. L. Schroats.
