Full Text

When the Court Martial, which sat in New-York for the trial of Lippencut, had finished their business, they delivered the minutes of their proceedings, made into a roll, sealed at both ends, without a direction, to Granny Robertson, the Governor, but unfortunately the old creature lost them out of her pocket, in the street. Whether she had taken a drop too much, or was busily employed in thinking about sweating half joes, or making money by selling public stores, is not known, but the minutes were lost; and it is thought that if they are not found, Lippencut must be tried over again, that new minutes may be made. To prevent this trouble, the Hon. Hugh Wallace has offered a reward of three guineas for finding the said roll. What a blundering pack they are!
