Yankton has had its share of these evanescent hopes, but it is a gratification to notice that they are rapidly passing away and that our people are getting down to the more solid basis of good sense, which directs them to work for themselves and abandon their indulgence in visionary inanition. Improvement will surely come with well directed enterprise and public spirit, such as now developing in our midst.
