A letter from Berlin, of a late date, states, that his Prussian Majesty has, within the last six months, EXPENDED 1,000,000 crowns in draining marshes, repairing publick buildings, establishing manufactories, settling colonies, relieving distress, and in other purposes of true philanthropy and extensive policy.

The above letter states, that no person whatsoever is suffered to kneel in the King's presence, when he gives audience, as his Majesty is of opinion that such acts of humility should be made to the Deity alone.
