Another Still Raided.

Revenue Officers C. E. Dooley, J. S. Porter and L. B. Perkins with U. S. Marshal Summers captured another moonshine still, this time in Wyoming county, this state, on Friday night, Sept. 23.

The still was located in a rough country about 16 miles from Pineville. The operator, a man named Worley, had set up the apparatus in a room adjoining his kitchen, and used the cookstove as a furnace.

The still was an old-time wooden outfit, with a capacity of about 30 or 40 gallons. A quantity of mash and beer was found, all of which was destroyed. Worley was taken in charge and sent to the Charleston jail. He claimed to be a Virginian from the head of Shooting Creek, Highland county. No trouble was experienced in making the arrest.

We congratulate these officers on their energy and good luck in capturing two stills in less than two weeks.—W. Va. News.
