March 9. They write from Vienna of the 23d ult. that the following Demands had been made by that Court to the King of Prussia, by Way of Preliminaries to a Peace: First, That the King of Poland, Elector of Saxony, should have twelve Millions of Florins allowed him for the Damages his Electorate has sustained by being the Seat of War. Secondly, That three Millions of ditto should be granted to the Duke of Mecklenburg Schwerin for the Damages his Dutchy has suffered. Thirdly, That three Millions should be paid for the Damages and Loss the People have had by the Prussian base Coin. Fourthly, That the Dutchy of Silesia should be restored to the House of Austria. And Fifthly, That on Compliance with these Demands, it was agreed that Ducal Prussia, Pomerania, and the Dutchy of Cleves, should be restored to the King of Prussia.
