The sending Dr. Logan as an Envoy to the French Directory, from the Jacobin Faction, is but one scene in that vast Tragedy of Treason, which they have been preparing in the United States.

JOHN ADAMS, President of the United States, is a descendant of one of the first families of Massachusetts-Bay, who founded the Colony in the year 1630. He was born at Braintree, in this State, October 19, (O. S.) 1735, which, according to the modern calendar, is the 30th October.

The elections at the southward are not stated with that accuracy which will warrant an affirmation. One thing is, however certain, that a majority of the next House of Representatives of the United States. will be decided JOHN ADAMS,--and GEORGE WASHINGTON, Federalists.
