Charles Frazier returned from Anchorage where he attended the State Republican Convention as a member of the GOP Central Committee.
He announced this morning that he extended an invitation for the 1964 convention to be held in Nome and the invitation was accepted.
The date of this convention will be announced at a later date.
Mr. Frazier reports that about 200 delegates and alternates were in attendance and other Nomeites included Doris Wilke, committeewoman; Wallace McIver, Grace Johnson and W.W. Laws.
