Legislative changes have made Nevada and its queen city, Reno, the objective of thousands of tourists. At the left you see the Washoe County Courthouse, where the "great cure" is dispensed. In the foreground is a tourist and his Chevrolet sedan. Right is memorial to John William Mackay, one of the Comstock Lode developers, which stands in front of the Mackay School of Mines at the University of Nevada.
