SAM MARCOM INJURES EYE IN ACCIDENT

Sam Marcom, five-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jay Marcom, Wolf Point, recently was involved in an accident which may cost him the sight of his left eye.

Young Marcom was playing on his tricycle when he ran into a cushion machine used by his father in his upholstery shop. As a result of the accident he had a hole put in his eye. He was rushed to Glasgow for an emergency operation and then was taken to a specialist in Oklahoma.

Presently little Sam has a plastic covering over the hole in his eye and is required to wear the patch which he can remove for no longer than fifteen minutes each day.

Doctors stated that Sam will not lose his eye but whether or not he will regain his eyesight is doubtful.
