FRANKFURT, GERMANY.-
United States and Russian occupation forces have agreed to establish liaison missions in each other's zone of occupation, the United States European command announced.

The missions will have "freedom of travel throughout the other power's occupied zone and will be authorized to investigate and report on interests of their nationals within the zone," the announcement said. Each mission will have army, navy and air force representatives, limited to a total of 14. The missions are being established under provisions of the 1945 Potsdam conference.
