Full Text

Cheap Boasting

The Republican paper has degenerated to the point now of telling its readers every day how good a paper it is. The readers did not know how good it was, or it would not have been necessary to remind them.

The nerve of that paper in mentioning how it covers Nogales in a news way is only equalled by the nerve of the republican party in telling us about "republican prosperity" during the past couple of years.

If the International only used the local news appearing in that paper we could not get out more than one paper a month.

As a matter of fact the International has "scooped" that sheet regularly and consistently.

The International gathers and writes its own news and editorials and from the way this paper is growing in circulation and advertising volume the people of Nogales apparently like it.
