NOW HAD A CELL
IN JAIL AT LUSK

Charles Pancake, who is charged with non-support is now occupying a cell in the county jail at Lusk. Pancake has been sought by the authorities for almost two years and seemed at all times to be able to elude the hand of the law, until last week.

The warrant for Pancake's arrest dates back to July 22, 1921, when Judge Mentzer, at that time presiding over the district court, issued the papers. Mrs. Fern Pancake, some time before that date, was given a decree of divorce against the man and the court ordered that he pay her alimony each month for the support of the three children, whose ages now range from three to eight years. Up until the time the warrant was issued, Pancake had not paid any of the money as stipulated by the court. It was for that reason the bench warrant was issued by Judge Mentzer.
