Suits have been commenced against certain parties in this county known as "Home Guards," for the unlawful arrest, or kidnapping, of Hon. Andrew Humphreys, Wm. Holsten, and others. They profess to have had no personal malice towards these gentlemen, but were acting under orders from higher authority. Their misfortune, the is that they should have put themselves under the authority of such unprincipled principals.—Sullivan Democrat.
