Christian Youth Fellowship members rode in a truck to the McCalla farm and from there they had a hayride. The group came back to Starkweather Hall where games were played and refreshments served. Eunice Ford, Detroit, was in charge of the party, and Jean Jackson, Detroit, and Jean Funk, Chassell, were in charge of the food. Refreshments of tuna fish and peanut butter sandwiches, and hot chocolate were served. The group concluded the evening by singing.
Sunday evening at 7 o'clock vesper service will be at Starkweather Hall. The theme of the service will be "Storm at Sea", with Mrs. Elva Shaw as the speaker. Ruth Bolton, Monroe, will lead the vesper service.
Following vespers there will be a friendly hour of games and refreshments. Betty Baggerly, Leslie, will serve the food, and Irene Patterson, Davisburg, will lead the games.
Saturday, Oct. 21, at 8:00 will be a "treasure hunt". Cheryl Steiner, Ann Arbor, is in charge.
Every person of college age may attend any meeting of the group. It is open for both servicemen and business people as well as college students.
