LOS ANGELES, Calif., Sept. 30

In a 30-minute ceremony, seven recently appointed Los Angeles municipal judges were sworn in today, Wednesday, Sept. 30, in the Assembly Room the State Building.

Among them was John F. Aiso, now Superior Court Commissioner, who is first mainland Nisei to gain a judiciary post.

The 43-year-old Burbank-born attorney who in the last war enlisted as a private and rose to the rank of a lieutenant colonel, took the oath in the presence of Chief Justice of the State Supreme Court, Hugh Gibson.
