FROM THE ARMY.

We have received intelligence from Fort Early as late as the 10th instant in corroboration of the accounts from Milledgeville. On the 11th instant the army was expected to march for Fort Scott, at which place it would arrive in 4 days, if no intervening object checked its progress. The vicinity of our troops to the savages will soon bring on an engagement, unless they change their position and divide their forces into more numerous parties. In this event, which we fear, the campaign must be protracted until the enemy is cut up in detail.
