Chairman of the Republican State Committee of New Jersey, Richard Harrington, tried in the courts of Washington city for safe burglary; Chairman of the Republican State Committee of New York, John F. Smythe, impeached for fraud while State Insurance Inspector; Chairman of the Republican State Committee of Arkansas, Stephen W. Dorsey just tried in Washington for fraud on the Government, and at large because the jury disagreed. This record is from Republican authority, and these are the men who in the States named, are the managers of Arthur's party!
