New Church at Shreveport.

Shreveport.-Artistic to a degree that would be creditable to an Eastern metropolis, the Noel Memorial Methodist church will be another beautiful ecclesiastical edifice of which Shreveport can justly be proud,

The building and furnishings will cost $65,000. Of the amount J. S. Noel individually contributes $50,000, the church being erected in memory of his son, J. S. Noel Jr.

Batesville stone and St Louis pressed brick of a pleasing gray tint will be used in the exterior construction. A steel roof covered with Spanish tile, cold rolled copper cornices, ornamental iron columns and the best of Southern lumber for making the woodwork will form special features in the building, making it substantial as well as beautiful.
