Watermelon Found For Girl

ANTIOCH, Calif. - (A) - Although out of season, watermelons are plentiful today at Dixie Kline's house.

They arrived by plane, by car and by truck as a birthday present for the tiny girl, who celebrates her sixth - and probably last -- birthday today.

She is dying of leukemia.

When it was announced that Dixie craved watermelon, Dominic Del Monte of Pittsburgh, Calif., brought several boxes of watermelon balls (round bites from the heart of the melon).

Whole melons came from Martinez, Sacramento and Fresno.
