Boston & Maine Railroad Offers a Reward of $1,000 For Information.

The Boston & Maine railroad has issued a notice to the public offering a reward of one thousand dollars to the first person furnishing information that will lead to the detection and conviction of the person or persons who tampered with the switches and tracks at Walloomsac in the early morning of Jan. 5, 1909, thereby causing the derailment and wreck of a passenger train.

Information must be given to M. P. Snyder, assistant superintendent, Fitchburg division, B. & M. railroad, Mechanicville, N. Y.

It is believed that this action on the part of the Boston & Maine will be productive of new developments in the matter.
