RICHMOND, JULY 6.

As the 4th of July came this year, on the Sabbath, all the festive celebrations in honor of the event, were postponed till Monday. On Sunday, the Public Guard ushered in the Anniversary of our independence, by a morning gun--at 12, a national salute on the capitol square, and at sunset the evening gun.

Yesterday, the uniform and militia companies paraded, went through their evolutions, were reviewed by the Governor, and the uniform corps marched off to the places where they had respectively appointed to dine.
