The following elevations above sea level for places in and about Waterbury have been compiled by E. O. Hovey from the topographical survey of Connecticut: New York and New England section, 260 feet; Pine hill, Waterville road, 580 feet; Abrigador hill, 560 feet; highest point of Hill street, 680 feet; hill north of Long hill school, 860 feet; High rock, above high street, 480 feet; Toby's Rock mountain (High rock at High Rock grove), extreme top 780 feet; Quasga pang pond, 697 feet.
