CHAMPION COW COMING.
Will be Bred to W. O. Minor's Golden Goods.
E. W. Lee, W. O. Minor's herdsman has returned from Chicago, where he has been attending the eighth meeting of the International Stock Show.
Mr. Lee, who has attended five of the meetings of the big show, states that the recent meeting was the biggest that he ever saw. There were nearly 4000 head of fine stock at the International this year.
While in Chicago, Mr. Lee made arrangements with Rees & Son, of Nebraska, to send the famous cow Ruberta, twice champion of America, to Heppner to breed to W. O. Minor's champion bull, Golden Goods.
This great cow's calf, from Golden Goods, was first in the senior bull calf class at the International this year. When such well known breeders as Rees & Son who will have only the best, send out West to Mr. Minor's great herd, it is certainly a great recommendation for Mr. Minor's stock.
It proves that there are no better cattle in the United States than owned right here in Heppner by W. O. Minor.
