Extract of a Letter from Albany, October 18.

Yesterday an Express arrived here from Oswego with the agreeable News that Capt. Larwreal, who declare that Quebec was taken the 18th of September; that Monsi. Vaudreuil is retreated: real: That it was Monfi. Ramfey surrendered and takes a Stand between Quebeck and Montreal: The above Prisoners declare this to be absolutely Fact.--Both our Armies are gone forward, both Westward and Northward, and hope soon to hear all this Country to be English. It's said General Amherst has given the sole Command of the Troops at Oswego to Sir William Johnson.
