Dr. W. E. B. DuBois, professor of sociology at Atlanta University, addressed the students and faculties of Emory University's theological department this week where he spoke on "Ministers and International Relations".
Last week, Dr. DuBois was one of the resource persons at the Fifth Annual Institute of Social Relations and Affairs held at Paine College in Augusta, Georgia. At each of the five sections of the Institute, there was a visiting resource person, and Dr. DuBois represented the section on "Political Action in the World". Other resource persons on the program were professors from the University of Georgia and Emory University.
The latest book by Dr. DuBois, "Black Folk Then and Now", with five hundred manuscript pages, will be published in the spring of 1939 by Henry Holt and Company. It is a history of the Negro race in Africa, North and South America, and the West Indies.
