Wright's Father in Airship.

Dayton, O.—Orville Wright made five flights here in one of which he reached an altitude of 2,700 feet, from which height he landed at terrific speed, reaching the earth in one minute and 28 seconds, or at a rate of over 20 miles an hour.

For the first time in his 82 years, Bishop Milton Wright, father of the aviators, left the earth with Orville in a six-minute flight and was taken 300 feet in the air.

He entered the machine tremblingly, but later expressed his delight at the sensation of flying.
